Draw
Draw a horizontal line across the days and it turns into a task bar, snapped to whole days and ready for a title. There is no form and no date picker in the way. Drag a bar to move it, drag its ends to change its dates.
Ghost preview
Lengthen or move a task that others depend on, and every task after it shows where it would land as a ghost, with a banner that says how far things shift and which milestone is at risk. Apply accepts it, Review lists the moves, Undo takes it back. Nothing changes until you apply.
Export & ship
Export the whole plan, what is on screen or one phase, as PNG or, with Pro, as a vector PDF, and hand it to Files, Mail or AirDrop through the share sheet. When a plan is done, mark it Shipped: it moves to your Shipped wall with your stats and badges, and Pro turns it into a poster.

Without a Pencil, the easiest start is a template.
When a change pushes later tasks, for example when you lengthen a task that others depend on, Inkplan shows where they would land as a Ghost preview, together with a banner. Apply accepts the change, Review lists the tasks that would move, and Undo takes it back. Nothing changes until you apply.
In a plan, open the plan menu and choose Export…. Choose the range (Whole plan, Visible, or Selected phase) and the format.
A file is created and shared only when you choose to.
Your plans are stored in Inkplan's own database, never on a server of ours, and they stay on this iPad unless you turn on iCloud backup. There is no account, and Inkplan has no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
Encrypted iCloud backup is part of Pro and stays off until you turn it on in Settings. When it is on, Inkplan encrypts a snapshot on this iPad and writes it to your own iCloud Drive. A backup is restored only when you tap Restore.
Deleting the app deletes the plans on this iPad, but not an iCloud backup you made: that stays in your iCloud Drive until you remove it. When you turn backup off, Inkplan asks whether to delete the snapshot or keep it.
