Short version: Inkplan is free to use within the limits below, Inkplan Pro is optional, and your plans belong to you.

Who publishes Inkplan

Inkplan is made and published by WANG WENJIE (“we” in these terms). By downloading or using Inkplan, you agree to these terms.

Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Inkplan on iPads you own or control. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, in addition to these terms. Inkplan itself (its code, artwork and text) remains ours; please don't copy, resell, decompile or reverse-engineer it.

Free and Pro

The free version of Inkplan includes:

  • 3 active plans
  • Unlimited tasks, phases & milestones
  • All Pencil gestures & dependencies
  • Ghost preview & undo
  • PNG export
  • 3 templates + this week's pick

Shipped plans do not count toward the 3 active plans. There are no ads.

Inkplan Pro is optional and adds:

  • Unlimited plans
  • All 16 templates, one Pro pick free weekly
  • PDF export, no footer
  • Encrypted iCloud backup
  • Version snapshots (30 per plan)
  • Shipped posters & Year in Plans
  • Custom phase colors
  • Priority support

Pro includes all built-in templates (currently 16). In addition, each week one Pro template is free for everyone as this week's pick.

Purchase options

Pro is sold through Apple's in-app purchase, in three options. The App Store shows the price in your currency before you confirm.

  • Monthly (com.topxup.inkplan.pro.monthly): an auto-renewing subscription, charged once a month.
  • Yearly (com.topxup.inkplan.pro.yearly): an auto-renewing subscription, charged once a year. Eligible new subscribers get a 7-day free trial. When the trial ends, the yearly price is charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
  • Lifetime (com.topxup.inkplan.pro.lifetime): a one-time purchase. It is not a subscription, it never renews, and you are never charged for it again.

How subscriptions renew, and how to cancel

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically for another period of the same length unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. After you cancel, Pro stays on until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunds

All payments are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple too. We cannot issue refunds and never see your payment details. You can request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Restoring purchases

If you reinstall Inkplan or move to another iPad, sign in with the same Apple Account and tap Restore purchases on the Pro screen or in Inkplan's Settings. This restores Pro. It does not restore plans; plans can only come back from an iCloud backup you made.

Your plans are yours

You own everything you create in Inkplan, and we claim no rights to it. Your plans stay on this iPad unless you turn on iCloud backup, which writes an encrypted copy to your own iCloud Drive, not to us. Because there is no copy on any server of ours, deleting the app or losing the iPad means losing its plans, unless you made an iCloud backup or exported them. Details are in Settings → Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Use Inkplan lawfully, and don't use it to harm anyone. Don't try to break, bypass or tamper with the app or its purchase checks.

No warranty, limited liability

Inkplan is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data or for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Inkplan Pro. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when Inkplan changes. The current version always ships inside the app, with its date at the top. If you keep using Inkplan after an update, the updated terms apply.
