Inkplan does not collect any data. Its App Store privacy label says Data Not Collected, and this page explains what that means in practice.

What we collect

Nothing. Inkplan has no account and no sign-in, and it contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code and no third-party SDKs. It never sends your plans, your usage or any identifier to us or to any third party; the only copy that ever leaves this iPad is the optional encrypted iCloud backup, which goes to your own iCloud Drive. The only numbers the developer sees are the aggregate download and sales reports that Apple provides in App Store Connect.

Where your plans are stored

Your plans, tasks, milestones and settings are saved in Inkplan's own database on this iPad. They stay on this iPad unless you turn on encrypted iCloud backup yourself. No server of ours is involved.

Encrypted iCloud backup (optional)

Encrypted iCloud backup is part of Inkplan Pro and stays off until you switch it on in Settings. When it is on, Inkplan encrypts a snapshot of your plans on this iPad (AES-256-GCM) and writes it to Inkplan's folder in your own iCloud Drive, so it is end-to-end encrypted. The key is created on your device and kept in your iCloud Keychain, so only your Apple Account can open the backup; we never receive the file or the key. A backup is restored only when you tap Restore, and when you switch backup off, Inkplan asks whether to delete the snapshot or keep it.

Deleting the app does not delete an iCloud backup you made: it stays in your iCloud Drive until you remove it. To remove it, delete the Inkplan folder in iCloud Drive.

Exports and sharing

PDF and PNG exports and Shipped posters are made on this iPad, and only when you ask for one. Inkplan hands the file to the iOS share sheet; where it goes next (Files, Mail, AirDrop or another app) is your choice, and that service's own privacy policy applies.

Purchases

Inkplan Pro is bought through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details, your name or your Apple Account. Inkplan only checks, on this iPad, whether Pro is active.

Changes

If Inkplan ever starts handling data differently, this page and the App Store privacy label will be updated first.
